Rank and file Carpenters in New York City are taking to the streets to protest the totalitarian tactics of leaders within the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the New York City District Council of Carpenters.  On April 13, 2011, rank and file UBC members who “…are sick and tired of business as usual” will gather outside a meeting of the NYC District Council of Carpenters at 395 Hudson Street in New York City to protest what they say is a “Rubber Stamp Committee” for UBC President Doug McCarron.
